I hope you are not looking for some quintessential Valentine’s Day post, because that is not what this is, but either way, keep reading. I promise you will not be disappointed, but you might get hungry!
I am not quite sure we have ever posted studio work on our blog before. But if 2020 has taught us anything, it is time to PIVOT! (Any F•R•I•E•N•D•S' fan’s out there?!)
Today, we are taking a look back at the landscape last year, and a few things come to mind:
1. How was this just ONE year ago?! (2020 feels like it was ten years rolled into one)
2. Remember when this many people would be in one room?
and 3. Don’t you wanna go back to the good-ole-days when we could gather, drink wine, and eat dinner together at a table crammed full of ladies eager to learn, in a room full inspiring people + speakers?
WE DO. Bad.
This past Christmas we were very lucky to have Beth from Sparkle and Twine Event Planning put together a super cute setup for our Outdoor Christmas Mini Sessions, the ever gracious Farm on Fifth. We had so many lovely couples and families come for their holiday photos, it was such a great time. Please enjoy some of the photographs from the set up, as well as a handful of our clients.

But reflecting on 2020 in such a way feels not possible, since there really were not many events to look back on. The few that we had we are of course, beyond thankful for, and happy to have been part of, but if 2020 taught me anything, it was that my mindset (and I am sure many others) needed a shift.

Read MoreWe never know what the weather will bring for a December in Canada, but we really lucked out, and on New Years Eve it worked out exactly as Sammie had hoped. We had this beautiful snowfall after the icy rain, and spent about a half hour down by the Falls. Afterwards, I had to go for a short drive and capture some snowy landscapes.

They met at McMaster University and spent many evenings at his home where he lived with roommates. Their love blossomed and an engagement soon came.
