Often times many businesses will put out a "‘Best Of’ article at the beginning of the new year. This has been a great way for us to look back and reflect on all the incredible people we have met, moments we have captured, and events we have been able to partake in. But reflecting on 2020 in such a way feels not possible, since there really were not many events to look back on. The few that we had we are of course, beyond thankful for, and happy to have been part of, but if 2020 taught me anything, it was that my mindset (and I am sure many others) needed a shift.

We never know what the weather will bring for a December in Canada, but we really lucked out, and on New Years Eve it worked out exactly as Sammie had hoped. We had this beautiful snowfall after the icy rain, and spent about a half hour down by the Falls. Afterwards, I had to go for a short drive and capture some snowy landscapes.

Some say there is no perfect equation for love. Tyson and Sarah would beg to differ. Take two students, add one math department and house number 54 and you'll find that love. They met at McMaster University and spent many evenings at his home where he lived with roommates. Their love blossomed and an engagement soon came. This engagement session clearly shows the results of that perfect equation.
