Niagara on the Lake holds some of the most beautiful, historic wedding venues in all of Niagara. The Pillar and Post is right downtown in historic district, and one we are lucky to work at often.
Typically, as the weather starts to warm up the birds start chirping, the flowers start to slowly blossom, and bridal Shower season begins. Sadly, with the changes in the world things will progress much more cautiously and may be more likely to happen online than in person. Between the welcoming of Spring and celebration of soon-to-be Mrs, the energy and laughter that fills the room is what we are missing most over here. Surely, the event industry has changed greatly these past twelve months, and we may feel these changes for some time to come, but we know that the bride-to-be will still be able to feel the love and excitement from friends and family by hosting something virtually!
A wedding is a day that many people want to share with anyone and everyone they have ever met. For others, that day is meant to be shared with those closest to you. Jennifer + Lukas’s Niagara on the Lake wedding, is a perfect example of keeping things intimate.

Some people stay engaged for years trying to decide the first big step: large or small wedding. Creating and finalizing a guest list is probably one of the hardest things to planning a wedding, and unfortunately something a planner cannot help with. Wouldn't that be nice though? If they had veto power over all the guests that your mother says you have to invite because "We went to their kid's wedding". That sounds like a dream.
Putting off your wedding shouldn't have to happen. You deserve to have the wedding of your dreams, no matter how big or small. Often times smaller intimate weddings are couples who have been married in the past, they might be a little older, and have kids whom are married themselves.
After a wonderful evening at Inniskillin Wines for their rehearsal dinner, we headed to Pillar and Post for Laura + Jake's wedding to continue the party.
They had a beautiful outdoor Jewish ceremony at the Miller House followed by fantastic party headed up by Michael Coombs Entertainment. This is a big post, so let's just get to the images.
This couple came all the way from Australia to celebrate their love in Niagara on the Lake, at the Pillar and Post. Courtney, originally from Canada, met David an Aussie that is the utmost gentleman. And you can just see the love he has for her from the other side of the room.
