To wrap up the winter, and celebrate the end of grey lockdown, our good friend Lindsay at Lindsay Plank Events put together this super sweet Micro Wedding Editorial that we were so lucky to capture up in Gooderham, Ontario.

We were also luck to have it featured on Vineyard Bride yesterday, but enjoy some of our favourite images.

Niagara Winter Engagement Session | Jessica + Nathan

A brief walk with your photographer is all you need to capture some great images. Learning to connect with our couples is a very important commitment we never like to overlook. We understand that not everyone wants to, or has the time to do an engagement session - or practice session, as we sometimes like to call them in the biz, but the really can take some pressure off for the big day.

Niagara Winter Portrait Session

We never know what the weather will bring for a December in Canada, but we really lucked out, and on New Years Eve it worked out exactly as Sammie had hoped. We had this beautiful snowfall after the icy rain, and spent about a half hour down by the Falls. Afterwards, I had to go for a short drive and capture some snowy landscapes.

McMaster University Engagement Session | Hamilton Engagement Photographers

Some say there is no perfect equation for love. Tyson and Sarah would beg to differ. Take two students, add one math department and house number 54 and you'll find that love. This couple was not camera shy but at ease and relaxed in each others arms, as the vibrant and busy city life of NYC melted away and Kim and Matt were the only ones that mattered.

From New York, Kim and Matt traveled to Niagara-on-the-Lake for their engagement session. We visited a couple of their favourite spots to capture their special moment in time. Willowbank School of Restoration was included for its historic charm, as well as Ravine Vineyard. Ravine is a favourite place to visit whenever they are in town, and the spot of their wedding rehearsal dinner.

Niagara on the Lake Summer Engagement Session

A stop in front of the soon-to-be wedding location was a must during our photo shoot as Queen’s Landing is a much-loved spot for the couple.

Kim and Stuart made it easy to capture great images, and if they were shy in front of the camera, you couldn’t tell – all we could see was pure adoration these two had for each other. Their love story has just begun, and we were excited to capture this couple’s next chapter.
