Typically, as the weather starts to warm up the birds start chirping, the flowers start to slowly blossom, and bridal Shower season begins. Sadly, with the changes in the world things will progress much more cautiously and may be more likely to happen online than in person. Between the welcoming of Spring and celebration of soon-to-be Mrs, the energy and laughter that fills the room is what we are missing most over here. Surely, the event industry has changed greatly these past twelve months, and we may feel these changes for some time to come, but we know that the bride-to-be will still be able to feel the love and excitement from friends and family by hosting something virtually!

Read MoreThe night before the wedding, after the wedding rehearsal with the immediate family and wedding party, everyone heads to a restaurant (in this case Ravine Vineyard), shares a lovely meal, drinks and always a great time. We are so happy when asked to tag along to rehearsals because we get to meet SO many of the wedding guests prior to the wedding day, as these affairs are usually include about two thirds of the wedding guests, if not more.
It almost gives us an advantage to telling the story of the wedding the next day, because we know more about their lives, and the people who have come together to celebrate it.

I went early to capture Steve and Michelle's cocktail hour, after they were wed at a local chapel just to photograph some of the details of the building. They arrived and were met with about 15 of their closest friends and family to enjoy cocktails on the veranda, followed by what I can only imagine to have been a spectacular meal.
