Finding What Really Matters, Karen + Bradley: Niagara Falls, Eco-Friendly Wedding Photograph

When two people decide to get married they are embarking on the most important journey of their lives. The road ahead is completely unknown, but together they will walk hand in hand... hopefully with a smile.

Karen and Brad, or Bradley as she calls him, have a beautiful family already with four children. They expressed their everlasting love for one another at Willodell Golf Club last Fall.

The day was like many weddings before it, lots of people, an anxious bride, an excited groom and the uncertainty of how weather can affect the day. Silver shoes resembling cinderella's glass slipper, deep red boutonnieres for the men, a three-tier cake and a candy buffet created a fairy tale day for the couple.

However, mother nature forgot to RSVP and brought rain for the day. Many people say that rain on your wedding day is a good luck start for marriage, however, when it's your wedding, good luck goes out the window with a strong preference for sunshine.

We moved through various locations to create the photographic story of their day. We improvised with an umbrella for a few outdoors shots. The rain came and went but one thing remained strong all day... a bride with a smile as bright as any ray of sunlight as she looked at the man that she could finally call her husband.

The rain was nothing more that a slight bump in the road... and together, Karen and Bradley will walk that road ready to enjoy any more bumps that may come.
