True Love Is Where You Last Expect To Find It, Kelly and Dave: Niagara on the Lake, Eco-Friendly Engagement Photographer

On an ordinary day we wake up, have a coffee, maybe some eggs and head off to work. We go through the motions and do what needs to be done. We let the constant reminder of our rent or mortgage and hydro bills drive us to get through the day and perhaps ignore what else the world has to offer us.

She was just a horticulture summer student. He was a mechanical engineer. The common thread; Ontario Power Generation. While it seems so cliche, the OPG offered more than just a spark for Kelly and Dave.

A weekly gathering of OPG employees brought these two together and the electricity was quickly flowing.  Kelly went on to complete her veterinary technician diploma and Dave decided they should celebrate her accomplishment with an Irish getaway.

While in the Aran Islands the two enjoyed a coastal bike ride followed by a hike. Some steep hill climbing was rewarded with a picnic on the ruins of a rock fort on the peak of the island. She was ready to go and he was feeling more nervous than ever before. With sweaty palms a usually calm man reached into his bag. He reached for the only thing that would justify this exhausting day, he reached for a ring. It was there, in a picturesque setting that he remembered that spark and hoped the flame would burn forever... he asked Kelly to marry him.

She loves animals, he loves flying gliders and single engine aircraft. Together they love the outdoors. Their engagement session was a clear display of two people in love. Two people who found love when they thought they were just enjoying some drinks with co-workers.

Never forget that loves happens when you least expect it... you might just find yourself in Ireland one day taking the first step toward eternal happiness and love.
