Niagara Spring Bridal Show, Eco-Friendly Wedding Photographer, Recap
In this modern world of social media it is so rare to enjoy face to face meetings with people. We spend years following random people through various outlets but never actually enjoy a live interaction.
The Niagara Spring wedding show took place this weekend in St. Catharines. This is almost a throwback to days past as I have the opportunity to meet prospective clients, see their faces, hear their voices and showcase who I am and what I do.
It was my first show with my new logo, brand and clear vision of what Eva Derrick Photography is all about! I created the perfect vignette that blended my love for technology and my connection to the more natural aspects of our world. Simple rustic doors were my backdrop, classic arm chairs gave my guests a comfortable place to sit and a beautiful canvas piece offered a sneak peak of what is to come.
I was pleasantly surprised by the increase in the number of grooms attending the event. A wedding is a special day for two people so I love seeing both of them taking part in the planning process. I felt an overwhelming connection to those that stopped by. Couples looking to have their ceremony outdoors, wanting an organic influence and stumbling on the perfect person for the occasion... me!
This is the first of many shows in my future. But I must say I started with a bang! To all who attended, thanks for coming and it was wonderful to meet you. I look forward to working with you in the future. Stay tuned for upcoming shows, I'd love to see you there as well!
