Hernder Estate Wines Wedding | Rita + Nick
Not all weddings go perfectly as planned, but sometimes a change of plans can make the seemingly perfect even more magical. Rita and Nick chose Hernder Estates for their special day. They were drawn to the venue because of the beautiful lawn that seemed ideal for the ceremony. However, Mother Nature had other plans offering a significant wind storm just days before exchanging their vows. Under the advisement of the venue they opted to change the ceremony location to the patio. This decision turned out to be the cherry on top of a perfect day! The weather was gorgeous and the patio offered a dry floor and a perfect backdrop for the ceremony.
The day was also filled with special touches to honor those who were unable to be there as life took them too soon. A pendant honoring the bride's grandmother, aunt and brother kept them close to her heart as she walked down the aisle. Rita also pinned her grandfather's cuff links to her dress to have him close by in spirit.
What can often be a stressful day is made much more calm when sentimental objects find their way into the process. At the end of it all Rita and Nick suggest that you be in the moment and truly enjoy your day because it goes by in the blink of eye so make sure you are paying attention.
