A Blast From The Past: Fraser and Mira, Niagara Wedding and Portrait Photographer

in honour of the month of my ninth year in business (wow, that is crazy!), here is a shoot shout out, involving the guy who came to my first wedding with me, those many years ago....

fraser and i met in college where we both studied photography.  we were inseparable.  truly great friends, with hours of conversations in the studio working on assignments until the wee hours of morning, when the projects were due.  after school, i started my wedding business in london, ontario, and fraser decided the path more travelled, where he worked tirelessly as a the lead photographer for a number of cruise-ships.  needless to say, with those busy lifestyles we fell out of contact- fast.
as the years went by we would exchange an email or text here and there, but hadn't spent a lot of time together since.  same with mira, i also knew her in college, and we remained in contact briefly via Facebook: good old social media and its connections.  

then we come to today, fraser and mira were engaged over the christmas holiday and are planning a wedding this summer in their backyard.  recently they came to our home in niagara on the lake, so we could get reacquainted and planned their engagement session.  like riding a bike, we picked up where we all left off.  a day full of memories, laughter and extremely sore cheeks from smiling so much!  enjoy some of my favourite images from our session.
