Niagara on the Lake Wedding Photographers: Pillar and Post Inn and Spa

Some people stay engaged for years trying to decide the first big step: large or small wedding. Creating and finalizing a guest list is probably one of the hardest things to planning a wedding, and unfortunately something a planner cannot help with. Wouldn't that be nice though? If they had veto power over all the guests that your mother says you have to invite because "We went to their kid's wedding". That sounds like a dream.

Niagara on the Lake Rehearsal Dinner | Ravine Vineyard

The night before the wedding, after the wedding rehearsal with the immediate family and wedding party, everyone heads to a restaurant (in this case Ravine Vineyard), shares a lovely meal, drinks and always a great time. Laura + Jake live in Manhattan, and chose Niagara to get married in last September. Similarly to many couples from the US, they have an amazing celebration the night before for the rehearsal but it includes everyone, not just the wedding party! We were lucky enough to be invited to capture that too.

Burlington Wedding Photographer | Blacktree Restaurant

Keeping on the trend of the non-traditional, insert Deb + Jody. It was so exciting to be part of their wedding day of under 30 people, held at her father's property, followed by an intimate dinner at Burlington's Finest Blacktree Restaurant.

It is so much fun to photograph weddings at private properties because there are so many unique and personal items that really speak about who the couple is, and the family that they are forming as one.
